January and February 2009

The Chapel door has been framed and trimmed and the deck has been added

Finishing the trim work above the entrance door

Working on the last bits of trim work

I love the way the door looks

The Bathroom tile in the chapel goes down

Paul and Chris work of the outside walls. Lots of cuts to get it right!

It is a small space to work

Paul has no fear of heights

Jack Wiseman and his wonderful crew plant the Rhododendrons

That's Jack in the middle.

The crew from Three Oaks nursery dig all the holes

Trucks loaded down

They brought 65 Rhododendrons to plant on a very cold and very windy day!

Look at all those Rhododendrons!

Looking out from the chapel bathroom

The dry wall is up and sanded above the cherry wainscotting

Doesn't this look nice?

Tommy Carver and his crew arrive in January to begin puting on the green metal roof for the chapel

They are working on the other side. The very high winds the week before have ripped the tar paper off the roof.

You can see what the winds have done to the Tyveck

It is hard work on this steep roof. Lots of measuring and cutting to get it right.

Takes a lot of guys to install the roof.

Do you think he is afraid of heights?

This side is finsihed

The gutter and the snow guards have been installed

Testing out the snowguards

While inside work progresses

The sheet rock goes up in the bathroom

Spencer and Chris put up the sheetrock

The finished roof looks great
